HDL's story bank has two sections -- GENERAL FICTION (stories for all ages) and SLASH FICTION. Having developed a notorious reputation in HL fic circles, in the list below, I've placed warnings on the stories that may or have already been proven to be offensive to some people.

THE "CONTROVERSIAL THEMES" LABEL!!I am sick and tired of flames, and particularly of certain hypocrites who have made it their duty to make assessments of my (and other writers') mental health. I am perfectly sane, I want to make that clear. But I do question the sanity of those people who still persist in reading stories that DO carry warning labels and then get offended by them, to the point that they publicly insult the writer.
©IMPORTANT ADVISORY. Please note that I've taken great pains and expense to have ALL the stories in this site, as well as those posted on my list, COPYRIGHTED. You see, in my country, we have a law that protects derivative works as long as they are for no or very minimal profit. Having had unsavory experiences with plagiarists in the past, I have to protect my work, especially since so many people seem to find my themes so appealing to make them want to do variations themselves. Plus, there has been a similar nasty experience wherein certain writers have asked my permission to do a variation, but actually intended to write a version that is DEROGATORY to the original.
In this regard, I WILL NOT GIVE PERMISSION to do other versions of my stories, INCLUDING the TEDDY BEAR TALES. Eng and I have come to so much grief over these stories that I do not want certain writers abusing our kindness any longer.
In recent months, I've received letters from nice folks asking for updates on my stories, in particular the "Highlander Serials".Although I haven't been updating them in the site, the latest chapters, as well as new stories I've written, HAVE popped up in my mailing list, the HIGHLANDER MAVERICKS (HLM).
