STARGATE...season 5

Enemies (June 29, 2001)

In their stolen Goa'uld mothership, Jack, Sam & Daniel along with Jacob have accidently ended up in a
completely different galaxy roughly 125 years travel from Earth. Shortly after their arrival, Apophis'
mothership arrived, having also escaped the blast from the super nova. Aboard this ship is Tanith and
Teal'c, who has been shot in the back with a staff weapon and is presumably dead. How will they
reunite the team and get back home? Could it be that SG-1's only hope lies with an old enemy???

Threshold (July 6, 2001)

The continuation of Enemies and the Stargate Program comes under threat from a surprising source.
With Teal'c now lost to them, SG-1 enlists the help of Bratac in a last-ditch effort to save their
friend.

The Season Five premiere, of course, picks up where the cliffhanger "Exodus" left off:

The group, in their stolen Goa'uld mothership, has arrived in a completely different galaxy -- 125 years' travel from Earth. For those of you hankering for a team episode, you'll get one right off the bat. Season Five's first episode, 'Enemies,' will give you the team dynamics many have requested. Unfortunately, things won't wrap up nice and neat for SG-1 as events from Enemies spiral directly into episode two, Threshold. "Enemies" will see the return of the great enemy of the Asgard: Replicator techno-bugs, last seen one year ago. TPTB are quoted as saying "Enemies is a terrific season opener. What I wanted to do was take our two big nemeses of the last two years and put them together so the episode features Apophis and the Replicators with a whole load of twists that will leave our audiences gasping." The first episode of Season Five shows us Apophis, who managed to capture Teal'c, putting him into a sarcophagus. In the course of his reawakening, Teal'c loses all knowledge of his 'defection' and his fight against Apophis with SG-1. He is again loyal to Apophis."

The second script of Season Five, Threshold, deals with "the threat of exposure [of the Stargate program] from a very surprising source. Episode two of next season will be a huge Teal'c episode. Everything you wanted to know about our favorite Jaffa, but were afraid to ask. Threshold is about making Teal'c realize who he is, in the episode they bring back an old friend to help conduct a process called The Rite of Masuraan, which literally means we have to bring a Jaffa warrior to the Threshold of Death and let him choose the path from there. This episode shows us lots of flashbacks to the time of Teal'c's youth, 50 to 60 years back when he was still a young 'green' Jaffa-cadet and served under General Bra'tac, who was then First Prime of Apophis and fighting Ra. This episode sort of takes place before 'StarGate,' the movie.
